During the relaxed one and a half hour tour, you can learn about the exciting history of the local monastery and other monuments with an expert guide! Besides the monastery, Sopronbánfalva boasts numerous monuments and natural values, so we warmly recommend our walks of discovery to our guests. Our permanent tour guide, Tamás Taschner, gladly accompanies the interested visitors through the exciting locations of the area. During the walk, you can explore the Queen of Heaven Church and the Árpád-era St. Mary Magdalene Church, visit the Heroes' Cemetery, and even immerse yourself in the history of a Lutheran bell tower and the mystique of the Order of Saint Paul the First Hermit.
The walk ends at the Kárpáti Watermill, from where the group can walk back to the Monastery together.
