FAIRY WALK – A VISIT TO PRINCE MIKLÓS ESTERHÁZY'S "THE MAGNIFICENT’S" FAIRY WORLD

During the costume palace visit, step by step, we can get acquainted with the history of the palace and the family of Prince Miklós Esterházy, who built the palace. At the dance and etiquette lesson, we learn baroque dance and minuet, and discuss 18th-century ball customs.

WALK IN THE MARGIT CZIRÁKY ROSE GARDEN AND IN THE ENGLISH PARK

During a walk in the Margit Cziráky Rose Garden, we evoke the figure of Countess Margit Cziráky, along with the early 20th-century history of the palace and the rose garden, as well as the design of the English park. Participants will get to know the most important roses in the garden and basic information on plant care.

❖ Group size: max. 30 people
❖ Duration: 30 minutes
❖ Price: 1000 HUF/person

ENTERTAINMENT AT THE WARM-HEARTED PRINCE

The program starts with a costume palace visit, bringing to life the nearly 300-year history of the palace. Following this, we will see the French garden and the Lés Forest, the venues of Baroque festivities from the Belvedere viewpoint. During the dance and etiquette lesson, we will learn Baroque dances, minuets, and get acquainted with the common courtesies of the 18th century.

TOUR ON THEATRE HISTORY AND 360° PANORAMIC PROJECTION

During a tour on theatre history, the 18th-century opera performances in Eszterháza and the figure of Joseph Haydn will be outlined. The colorful costumes and the model of the Eszterháza opera house provide a glimpse behind the scenes of the operas. In the Marionette Theater, we can step onto the stage ourselves. The program concludes with a 360° panoramic projection presenting the baroque history of the palace.

THE HUNGARIAN VERSAILLES

During the visit to the palace, we will get to know the history of the palace from the 18th to the 20th century and the peculiarities of aristocratic life. Then, from the Belvedere viewpoint, we will see the French garden and the Lés forest next to the castle, the venues of the baroque festivities of Prince Miklós  Esterházy "the Magnificent". In the dance and etiquette class, we will learn the minuet and discuss the etiquette rules and ball customs of the 18th century.

Merriments in Eszterháza

During the costume palace visit, the history of the palace and the peculiarities of aristocratic life come to life step by step. At the Belvedere viewpoint - from where there is a wonderful view of the French garden of the palace and the Lés forest - we also get to know the baroque festivities of Prince Miklós Esterházy "the Magnificent". During the dance and etiquette lesson, we learn baroque dance and minuet, and discuss the common courtesies of the 18th century. After a coffee break, the visit concludes with the chosen additional program element.
